Anyone who knows me knows I love shopping at thrift stores. There was a great one on the Marine Corps base in San Diego I got so many nice things at. The stuff there was extremely cheap (I'm talking yard sale prices), and Meircee and I once walked out of there with two plastic trash bags full of stuff (we bought stuff for our kids, too!).
My love for thrift stores remains and today was a banner day! I got the entire Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris. Only one of these was not a signed copy. I also got all but one of the Lily Bard series by the same author and both of the books in her Harper Connelly series (only one signed).
I also snagged myself a cute little pair of It's Happy Bunny pajama bottoms. But my favorite purchase of the day was a Kate Spade handbag. I'd never be able to afford one of these new, but I can have a slightly used one for $10 from the Goodwill! :O) It was a little dirty, but it cleaned right up and it's gorgeous! I'm in love.....

Do you want Defnitely Dead (signed, but not 1st edition)? I'm sending it to Meircee to read but I bet she'll send it to you if you want it.
Next Sookie comes out in May, but I don't know what day.....

New Sookie is "All Together Dead." Yes, you have it wishlisted. :) She usually does a signing in Memphis at Davis-Kidd and I AM going this year, so if you (and you, Stace) want a signed copy let me know and I'll get them for ya!
Actually (she confessess in a wee, smallvoice), I don't really give a damn about the signed thing so much.....I just want to *read it! lol
